The house was designed in consensus with the pious nature of the family, and this remained the primary requirement throughout the design process. The nature of worship remained exclusive to the family, who believes in the omnipotent presence of the divine. 

The form itself begins to reflect this idea of worship, with the form being an abstract representation of a respectful bow to the Eastern sun, and remains the core of the design. Vasthushastra was carefully studied and applied to remain an integral part of the building throughout the design process.
